All 3 Peaks peaked...

Congratulations to Andrew Taylor, Jules Howliston and Andrew Knight on their recent successful conquering of the Vegan 3 Peaks Challenge 2009. Supported by Vegetarian Shoes our 3 entrepid friend managed to climb the 3 highest mountains in Wales (Mount Snowdon), Scotland (Ben Nevis) and England (Scafell Pike) in 23 hours and 25 minutes.

The all-vegan team braved freezing winds, snow, sharp rocks and various injuries to climb around 10,000 feet, walking, running and hobbling around 25 miles and driving nearly 500 miles.

All three are members of the Extreme Vegan Sporting Association and managed to raise over £1200 for the Animal Count.
